Exciting news for all Peace River Picklers!

As many of you are aware, PRP has undertaken a website upgrade to better serve our pickleball community. These changes incorporate many items that our members have been requesting and or having difficulty with and include:

·      Improved membership payment system – paypal will no longer be used as the PRP system for initial or renewal yearly dues. Any standard credit card will be accepted by the system.

·      Improved calendar functions – the new system can present available events and opportunities in a calendar format, selectable by the user.

·      Improved search functions – events and opportunities can be reviewed and joined via a list format, selectable and searchable by the user.

·      Streamlined functions - many of the normal functions that users performed are made more efficient and easier to follow.

·      Instructor access – instructors and league leaders will be able to review who has registered for their event online.

·      Auto membership renewal – the new system allows for auto renewal so that each year your membership can renew without any action from the member (Note: for members that are being transitioned to the new system, you will need to go into the system after the transfer and provide credit card information for this feature to work for you).

·      Detailed instructions will be provided for how to perform your initial login for the new system as well as other new features.

Starting on Monday, August 18^th, the PRP website will be unavailable to our members and guests as we begin the transition to the new systems.  The PRP website will be up and running no later than Friday, August 29^th.  Although the system will most likely be available prior to the August 29^th date there are always unforeseen items needing attention. During this down time there will be no opportunity for members to renew the subscription, or new members to join.

Current members of PRP will be automatically transferred to the new system and your current membership date will remain intact.

Following the initial system transition, additional changes will occur in the system that do not require a full system stop but will continue to improve the user experience.

When the system is returned to service for member use, I will send out an additional notice updating everyone.
